Don is the founder and International Director of ELI, which began in Kenya and has now expanded to Tanzania, DR Congo and South Sudan. Victory is partnering with the work in Kenya along with 3 local missionaries – Venerable Kalondji, John Busienei, and Dennis Kiprop. ELI’s vision is to “Ignite World Changers” by empowering orphans & families to crush poverty, embrace Christ and share their transformation with others. ELI provides accessible and appropriate knowledge and training – delivered in a cost-effective and appropriate manner – which holds the greatest amount of long-term economic, spiritual, and relational impact among the needy.
Sarah Jane serves as an Arts Specialist in West Africa to create innovative opportunities for a people group to begin integrating God’s word into their lives through art and other forms (verbal, audio, phone app,..) with the goal of enabling a people group to have the Bible in their heart’s language. Sarah Jane has been a part of the Victory family since birth. God used multiple ministries at Victory (Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry and REACH/missions) to influence and impact Sarah Jane’s life helping lead her to the place of deciding to move into full-time service for the Lord as a missionary.
Bruce/Hannah will be using their engineering & landscape architect skills @ EMI to design hospitals, schools, water systems and many other facilities to enable Christian ministry partners to transform their communities. EMI’s heart is to see people restored by God and the world restored through design. God used multiple ministries at Victory (Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry and REACH/missions) to influence and impact Hannah’s life with a call to missions. Bruce’s family has a long history in missions as his grandparents founded Africa Inland Mission in 1945 and his parents continued in that service. Bruce grew up in Tanzania & Kenya. Bruce/Hannah met while on a short-term trip in South Africa and are excited to serve the Lord together as they deploy to Uganda later in 2021.
The Aukermans are church planting among the un-churched peoples within Albania. They are seeing local Jesus-followers emerging who will one day provide leadership for the church. They are involved in mentoring leaders, personal evangelism, discipleship, and children’s outreach as they encourage the development of a healthy, Albanian-led national church.
The Bishops live in a war-torn region where there are no Jesus-followers and no churches — yet. They are reaching out to their neighbors & praying for a movement of disciples. They are working together with the youth center and influencing the youth through classes/activities.
Rich & Deb are starting a 2nd career to apply years of experience in missions and business into a new role within GP to care for front-line missionaries in Eastern Europe (including the Aukermans & Bishops) and ensure they are encouraged, coached and supported to enhance the impact the missionaries make.
Carl/Deb will be serving with YWAM in Amsterdam as they will be sharing the love of Jesus within the city’s red-light district and other areas to see people come to a meaningful relationship with Christ. Their ministry will also include prayer and worship to overcome the darkness in this spiritually needy city. Carl & Deb sensed God’s call to full-time ministry while attending Victory. In obedience to God’s call, they left their places of employment to pursue a second phase of life as missionaries initially working in East Asia for several years before now heading to the Netherlands in late summer 2021.
The Wesleyan church in Ikh-Tamir - (city of ~5,000 people) is the only Christian church within this town or the neighboring one. Victory’s partnership will invest in the church leadership, people and building to enable the work of Christ to powerfully proceed in this area. Cory & Jennifer Ellison serve in the capital city of Mongolia and support the work of this growing church as the gospel goes forth in this country.
The C.A.M.P. Haiti, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit Community Center in Cayes-Jacmel, Haiti, founded by Matthew & Laura.The C.A.M.P. is designed to ignite community inspiration in Haiti by echoing God’s love through recreational, educational, and spiritual application. The C.A.M.P. accomplishes this mission through holistic programming and projects including free English classes, Saturday beach/street clean-up initiatives, funding school supplies for children in need, juvenile prison ministry and much more! Matt attended Victory as a youth along with his family before sensing God’s call to ministry.
Oswaldo & Denise Pineiros are the founders and leaders of WYI. Born out of a heart for children and families at risk, WYI works to prevent abandonment by strengthening families weakened by poverty, hopelessness, and lack of opportunity; provides spiritual enrichment & assistance to institutions and orphanages which care for children @ risk; and in cases where family re-insertion isn't possible, promoting adoption; both nationally and internationally.
